Alex Blakoe, Cievert’s Product Manager, led a seminar about patient follow-up yesterday at Oxford University. The talk, taking place at the Nuffield Department of Population Health, consisted of a presentation of Penguin’s functionality, followed by a spirited discussion of how Penguin may be used to tackle shortfalls in the world of healthcare. An excellent conversation took place about the potential that artificial intelligence (AI) has to transform follow-up care, and how best to capitalise on this. Reflecting on their experiences, clinicians and academics alike flagged opportunities for the use of PROMs and clinical questions to assess patients remotely. Cievert looks forward to continuing its relationship with researchers at Oxford University.
