Last week, Cievert completed the Greater Manchester: Future of Health accelerator programme. The programme ran over a 12-week period, with Cievert working alongside Novartis, Push Doctor and Google to transform healthcare through innovation.
Cievert was one of just 15 digital health startups accepted onto the 2019 GM: Future of Health cohort, out of the 130 companies that had applied. The 12 weeks consisted of weekly workshops run by industry experts, in which Cievert worked with other world-class innovators to improve the UK’s healthcare landscape and life sciences sector. The cohort also engaged in group tasks, challenged opinions, discussed previous experiences and offered eachother advice to help progress one another’s innovations.
The final Demo Day took place last Tuesday, with Cievert Product Manager, Jamie Cuthbertson presenting our products and the work we are currently undertaking with Durham University in data science. The accelerator has been an invaluable experience and has allowed us to meet academics and clinicians across the Greater Manchester region.
We would like to thank UP Ventures and Novartis for running the programme and making it such a success. As well as this, Cievert would like to wish the 2019 GM: Future of Health cohort all the best for the future – we will be keeping a sharp eye out to see how your innovations progress and succeed in the new year.
